Bsafe/Enterprise Security for Linux is an integrated software package providing powerful protection and auditing features. It has been designed around the needs of modern companies in their efforts to achieve compliance with PCI, Sarbanes-Oxley, the Canadian Bill 198, HIPAA, Basel II and other industry regulations.

Bsafe/Enterprise Security for Linux incorporates application access control and audit. Permissions definitions are made and audit data is viewed in the Windows-based Bsafe/Enterprise Security Manager used also for security and auditing of the other platforms supported by Bsafe.
Any ‘PAM-aware’ application can be controlled by Bsafe authentication at the level of user, user group, remote system name and system policy. Application activity can be viewed in on-line inquiries with filtering by parameter. It can be printed as management reports and saved as files.

Bsafe/Enterprise Security is extendable to provide security and auditing solutions for other platforms such as: IBM System i, IBM System z (mainframe), Microsoft Windows, SQL Server and Unix / AIX. Bsafe/Enterprise Security for Linux facilitates the integration of Linux audit data into the Bsafe/Cross-Platform Audit.
