Bsafe Information Systems 1983 Ltd. develops and markets network and data-security products for IBM iSeries (AS/400), zSeries (mainframe) and open systems. The company also manages custom projects in the security field.

A number of factors have come together in recent years to make security one of the major concerns facing many data-processing installations. These factors include the technological advancements that have allowed data to be accessed from diverse sources including the internet and other networked connections and the growth in the amount of sensitive information being stored in today’s computer systems.

Bsafe Information Systems 1983 Ltd. was established in 1983 since which time we have accumulated extensive experience in the sensitive field of data security. For more than a decade, the company has been providing security solutions to large organizations with rigorous security demands such as banks, insurance companies and public institutions. Our experience and on-going development in security technology enable us to provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art solutions for our clients.

Once the AS/400 evolved into a major network server with remote TCP/IP connections, the trusted security features of the AS/400 were no longer enough to protect the system from misuse or unauthorized access. This security gap led to the development of Bsafe/Global Security which went on to become the company’s flagship product. Among its shareholders are Bank Leumi Investments, the TCI systems group and the Formula group.

In 2002 Bsafe signed a multi-national agreement with IBM procurement for the reselling of Bsafe/Global Security.

We have customers and business partners throughout the US, Europe and Asia - more than 20 countries in total - and are constantly expanding our dealer network and client installed base.

Our products offer security solutions in the more popular operating platforms found in large financial organizations. Existing weaknesses are strengthened both in internal security and the external environment.

It is hard to envisage the hi-tech world in which we shall be living and working ten years from now, or even in five years. All we can know today is that the technological environment of the future will be even more complex than that of the present.

With this in mind, we continue to expand our range of products to encompass new innovations and implementations of data-processing. We also place great emphasis on responding to our customer's requirements. By merging the two, we believe we are able to invest our research and development resources today in those areas that will best enable our customers to respond to the demands of the future.
